Page 3? Need some SEO help.

On a quick google search for "simple living" I see that the old website, even in it's sorry we're closed status, is on the first page and #3 on the list. This site is on page 3 behind some sketchy competition. What's up with that? Maybe some of our techie members can do a little SEO?

Good suggestion Yoss. When this incarnation of the site was set up, it was put together as a group effort, by people who had never set up a website before.

A quick look at the forum's built in SEO tools show that the only keywords were "simple living" and "Financial Integrity". Since keywords are the tools search engines use to index sites, we've limited our search paramaters. I've just added additional keywords off the top of my head to include "financial integrity,simple living,voluntary simplicity,YMOYL,budget,declutter,your money or your life,frugality,early retirement,simple life,sustainability,personal finance".

Anyone with suggestions for additional keywords, please let me know.

What about getting out of debt, or debt support group? (they way I understood it, the old forum would cheer people on doing that)
