Last weekend I bought some raspberry and blackberry bushes; they were packaged in biodegradable containers and each had one cane stick about a foot long poking up from the top.
I assume since these were on a shelf and not being watered that this means the roots are dormant. Will I be OK in keeping them inside in their containers until April gets here (that's what the zone information for my state says on the package, April-May)? Do I need to water them? Or go ahead and plant them outside and hope we're done with frost for the season?
