i have actually been exercising, mostly swimming right now. And i tend to get water issues, i found this great idea and have been testing it out. Mix one part vinegar and one part rubbing alcohol. then put a drop in each ear after swimming. it dries it right out and i don't have any issues.

Although this is working, I would check with your Dr. to make sure it is okay and that it won't harm your ears...IMHO

I have to wear earplugs and I really dislike them. Sometimes I opt just to side- or breast-stroke instead of crawl so I don't get water in my ears, and can leave out the plugs.

I've heard that some people use a blow dryer to make sure their ears are dry after swimming.

When I was swimming regularly I had to wear ear plugs also. My doc, years ago, recommended a couple, drops of,peroxide when my ear had plugged up. It worked great. I imagine this would also work after swimming, although perhaps not as good at drying the inner ear out as alcohol would be.
