Interesting, thanks Lainey. Finally, this site provides a breakdown of "Income Security" that makes up a full 16% of the Federal budget. I don't have a problem with funding the unemployment trust (serious problem with 99 weeks, but that is a different post), "supplemental nutrition assistance programs" (guessing that is food stamps), military pensions or child nutrition programs. Most of the rest of that $550 billion and change should be on the bargaining table, IMO.
