frugalone's thread reminded me that I'd like to hear of the favorite charities of our Canadian members.

I just had research in Toronto, and came home with a $20 CAD. Too much trouble to exchange it. I'd rather stick it in an envelope and send it back to Canada.

Charity suggestions with addresses welcomed.

The woman who runs this feral rescue works tirelessly trapping, neutering, and returning feral cats to their property of choice, and healing their various maladies (I had no idea ringworm was so hard to get rid of.) I'm beyond impressed by the level of kindness and caring this charity demonstrates.
