I have teared up easily forever, to the point where people look at me like I might be crying. It has mostly been annoying, but lately my eyes have been more bothered by it.
One part is that the anti-depressants are working, one of the very few times in my life that I have had them work. So I am less emotional overall. Still the eyes are irritated. I had my eye exam and they said my eyes were overdry and trying to compensate. I have some eyedrops and this super cool warming mask. They are both making my eyes feel much better.
Then last night at my small women's group we watched a short emotional video. I didn't tear up!! That almost never happens. Even at work when we watched emotional things (positive even) I would tend to tear up. I have carefully managed things so that I am not in positions to be emotional. I have ways of biting my lip or not making eye contact, etc. I still am not sure if this means I won't be so emotional all the time, but I am encouraged.
