A week ago I went down to Los Algodones, Mexico, with my Mother to get glasses made for her ($150 for transition progressives with a free eye exam included) - and I was a bit taken aback by the procedure to enter Mexico. There was none. This time no one looked at our passports nor questioned us in any way.
Refreshing, yes, but how practical is this in today's world? I believe America is way too over the top with security paranoia (Canada and Britian have this problem too, to be fair), but that this laxness on the part of Mexico is just as over the top....it's just the other extreme. What do you make of this? Rob
