I mix a 50/50 blend of lemon juice and olive oil to go on my salads, but my new dentist talked about how acidic foods and drinks are bad for the teeth. He specifically mentioned lemons.

So I am thinking of switching to a creamy dressing. Do you have one you like, store bought or homemade, preferably without sugar?

Creamy salad dressings are often made with mayo, yogurt and/or buttermilk, all of which are acidic.

I like Green Goddess.

I also make a bacon dressing with ketchup, mayo, and bacon blended together.

Looks like I need a blender, on my wish list. Maybe I need to kick myself into gear on that.

You could use one of these:https://smile.amazon.com/Protein-Stainless-Blender-Replacement-Drinking/dp/B08NXDBFWD/ref=sr_1_11?crid=1NXNHY88AU7ZD&dchild=1&keywords=blender+ball+shaker+cup&qid=1625240672&sprefix=blender+ball%2Caps%2C242&sr=8-11

Keep in mind that creamy salad dressings typically have a lot of calories and that all store bought salad dressings have a lot of salt.

Never heard of these before. Interesting.

I think a whisk would work for most dressings. My bacon version would require some vigorous chopping.

Never heard of these before. Interesting.

My husband has one of these for his chocolate milk.

A hand blender seems it would work best. But only if you truly need to emulsify, often times that's not even needed.

Jeppy: I was just looking at the Bed, Bath & Beyond flyer, and they have a Magic Bullet blender for $20.00. My sister gave hers to my husband a year or two ago because she didn't use it, and he has used it nearly every day since. It's a 2 cup capacity, easy to use, easy to clean and small footprint to store. He mostly uses it for smoothies.

The last blender I had was a Magic Bullet, but this time I think I would go with a bigger capacity.
