Question for personal trainers

Many years ago I wanted to be a personal trainer and I did all of the course work through ACE but never took the exam. So now I'm starting over. There are several other personal trainer programs, i.e., ISSA, AFAA, etc. Which one is the best? Is there one to avoid?

AFAA is very good, especially for group exercise instructors. Most fitness clubs will advertise that they have ACE people. The top of the line is ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine).
