I picked up a used copy at one of little free libraries and plunged into it...found it both motivating and entertaining.

It was just the kick in the fanny I needed to get me more active. Since reading it, DH & I have become very regular gym goers instead of just occasional.

We both seem to have more energy with this increase in activity (cardio on treadmill & bikes) and strengthening exercises on the machines and a bit of free weights.

Our diets have been cleaned up, too.

Anyhow, thought you might find the book of value, too. It's a different approach and not preach=y.

"if we don't move, we become immovable."

I will have to get it from the library as I definitely need a kickstart.

Sounds interesting. I feel I've been trying to be healthy since my 20s :treadmill:.

Well I'm not dead yet I guess, though I don't know that I'm younger. I mostly do weights at the gym, though with my encouragement my partner does cardio.
