Something I have always wanted to do!

A quick shower came up today, so I grabbed the shampoo, went out on my deck and washed my hair in the rain! I have wanted to do this for ages, but it would have to be hot outside for me to do it. And, hot we've had no problem having lately but rain has been scarce. Today, a sudden rain shower and there I was! Shampooing on the deck. Such fun. I don't play enough - this was fun.;)

That made me smile. I have never even thought of that and now I want to do it. Someday I want to build an outdoor shower.

wonderful. My mom talked a lot about using water out of the rainbarrel to wash their hair growing up.
I remember being little and my mom handing us a bar of soap and told us to strip down and go play in the rain when we were little. Probably the only time we didn't complain about bath time.

I've always wanted to do that. After a rain shower, my horses's coat is so soft and shiny. I think my mom once mentioned that she would collect water for washing her hair for the same reason.

That's the first thing I noticed after the fun part - my hair was soooooooooo soft.

You inspired me! I sent my older three out on the deck today with a bar of soap and some baby shampoo to take a shower with the hose. They are having a great time. Now if we could get some rain without lightning attached to it we'd be in business!
