Hey, Kat.....enjoy!!!!
Congratulations.....we'll understand completely if you're not around for awhile, hahahaha....... (all these many years later, I can still remember those absolutely no sleep times....."oh, please, please, baby.....go to sleep".......)
Awww! That's wonderful. Enjoy your precious daughter!
Congratulations! I LOVE that name---and for some odd reason, before I read your post I pictured her with lots of dark hair.

Congrats! I love her name! My DD's middle name is Elizabeth too. Enjoy and get as much rest as you can. Those first few weeks are very tiring, I remember.
Yay! Blessings to you, Dad and the wee one.

Thanks, everyone! We are enjoying her immensely. But yes...we are very tired! :-)
@Zoebird--Labor was fast! I started having contractions last Saturday night, but they weren't that bad, so I didn't recognize that that is what they were (first baby!). They woke me up about 3:30 Sunday morning, and we checked in at the hospital at 8:00. I was already 6 cm dilated by then. I got an epidural at around 9 cm, but only half a dose, which had (unfortunately) worn off by the time I needed to push. I was pretty terrified of the pain, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! She was born around 1:00 in the afternoon. The doctor and all of the nurses at the hospital were wonderful. We truly couldn't have asked for better care. Overall a really great experience!
