Both were here in St. Louis this week.
Why is this about simple living? hmmm, I don't think that it is, but it was an interesting week here.
The President's presence here in the city (not out in the 'burbs where he usually goes) caused some traffic jams. That's not simple. The President attended a $25,000 per head fundraiser at the home of Tom Carnahan, one of his buddies who got lots of green industry subsidy money. Tom has a wind energy company.
Our Republican friend lives a few doors down and we thought we should call him to see if we could hang out there and drink tea.
