Instrumental music

I am in need of a recommendation or two for some new instrumental music to play for my girls at bedtime. We've always played music for them, but I'm kinda sick of playing the same old cd's. I especially like celtic music, but would welcome any suggestion. oh, and we'd like to graduate from lullabies, which makes the search a little less obvious. :) thanks!

I don't know how old your girls are, but as a starting point I selected a handful of my own favourites that for the most part reflect famous bands and orchestras synonymous with classic instrumental tunes.

Of course you could also go with a variety of Baroque, Classical, Orchestral, or Chamber music as well. (Listen below to wet your appetite).

For bedtime, some of the CDs that are "meditation music", or the ones that have sounds of nature are very relaxing. Good for folks heading into sleep.
