New fence almost done, beans going in

Most of the new garden fence is done........just need to line the bottom of the 4' utility wire with chicken wire and figure out a more permanent gate. The snow peas are growing up the sides of the swingset and this week I'll plant 3 kinds of pole beans (Blue Lake, Kentucky Blue, Roma) and hopefully get the cucumber seed in. After I harden off the tomatoes (Rutgers, Roma, San Marzano, sweet 100's, and our favorite cherry: sun sugar) and Peppers, I can plant those. It will be a great feeling knowing that the bunnies (probably) can't get in!
I'm using my kids old swing set for a big trellis and have lined it with concrete reinforcing wire.

I also have a couple other trellises made of galvanized electrical conduit, lined with the same wire. My tomato cages are also made of that wire! Its good stuff.
Can't wait to make those marinated cucumber and tomato salads! :cool:
