Wife and kid off at a concert, home organizing my shop, cranking bagpipe music, checking on a few Internet articles, a quiet dinner of just-baked bread, my own wine, and getting some stuff done :-)

Today a wild hair hit me and I cleaned out my closet. I touched stuff I haven't touched in 7 - 8 years. And it's gone now. I was dreading doing laundry and putting away clothes, but not now.

I like to do clean-ups on Sunday mornings. I turn on NPR, make some good coffee, and clean the stove, refrigerator, cabinets. I also like sweeping, that is simple.

Yes, the simplest things are the best!
Right now I'm sitting in a room lit only by the slow lavender sunrise, with a warm cup of rooibos chai, listening to the birds, as my cats prowl around and watch the birds and the neighbor's cat in our yard. Early morning is my rejuvenation time.

Cranking the bagpipe music - now there's something I've never done. :) I tend to only crank classic rock-n-roll, but every now and then the mood hits me and I jam bluegrass. God, I love bluegrass music, along with more than one glass of wine - I feel that music in my soul, comes from my roots I believe.

Love the simple things in life. :+1:

I've never been a fan of bluegrass ( it gets on my nerves, along with country music, but the Lord showed me I was wrong about that when He led us to a church where they worshipped by using songs put to country style music...however, I digress)...until I heard this:
