I ordered two different Mora chisel-tipped knives the other day. They rock, very handy as a belt knife when working around the shop or in the near-woods around the house, and the sheaths hang easily on a pegboard. Super-useful for my Conan-level carpentry skills:

Top-to-bottom:

Spyderco Delica for scale reference
Mora HiQ, carbon blade, real flat-on-one-side chisel grind, $12.50 from Ragweed Forge
Mora Craftline, stainless blade, v-grind, $17.50 from Ragweed Forge

bae, what is the typical purpose to which this type of knife is put? I'm curious. It's an interesting shape, and I am unfamiliar with them.

Basically, it lets you carry two handy tools around on your belt for the price of one:

- a straight sharp main cutting edge, for, well, cutting stuff and making things out of wood, and all the other sorts of things you'd use a smallish knife for.
- a chisel on the tip, instead of a point, for chiseling wood, to make joints, or to make things fit. Chisels are insanely handy to have around, if you are familiar with their use, but they are usually all the way *over there* in your toolbox, or all the way back home when you might need one just to make one or two light adjusting cuts.

Together in one knife you have a great lightweight inexpensive utility tool for making snares, traps, shelters, other tools, and so on when out in the woods as well.

This would make a great little knife to keep in a small household toolbox for cutting, chiseling, and scraping, and the sheath keeps the blade from causing you or your other tools harm, while protecting the edges. Really a value at this price point.
