It's funny. I have seen several different dates announced as *that* date recently. But, I haven't rewatched the movie to check for myself. I think I will have to rent it this weekend!

whoops! Well, good. So I didn't miss out on the hover skate boards and flying cars! It has been awhile since i watched the movie. Will be looking forward to Oct. 21, 2015

ha ha! Well, my source was my husband, and he runs pretty much down the middle, like me. Not sure where he heard/read it. Probably the Internet. We were both fooled, but really glad we didn't miss the cars that fly on garbage!:D

Screw the hoverboards, when are they going to start controlling the weather??? Or does anyone but me remember that scene.
