What papers do you keep in a Safe Deposit Box?

None. But I know that is not recommended.

I even had the audacity to shred my marriage license after the divorce. But what could I possibly need it for? To prove my kid is legitimate?

Except for sentimental, one-of-a kind things or papers, everything can be recreated. I have had to recreate a birth certificate and passport lost in a house fire (not my house.)

I did keep a back-ed up copy of a book that I was writing while it was in progress in a safe deposit box. So I guess you know know what I find important.

Something not there after yesterday anylonger, My Voters ID. Yes I kept in the fire safe. Take it with me to vote yesterday and the nice lady says " We don't need that Ever". I laugh and say "but see how perfect it is since I keep it in the safe".
