Anybody know the name/author of this book?

I'm looking for a book that's now out of print. It was a picture book showing the homes and all the possessions of average families from countries around the world. There was also a follow-up book that focused on the women of the families. I understand there's a similar new book coming out soon, but I used to check this one out of the library at least ten years ago, so it was at least that old. Anybody know what it was called?
