Tussiemussies, I love gratefulness.org! I have been getting their word for the day for a long time now, and sometimes the quotations are amazingly synchronous with what's happening in my life. It always makes me feel better when I light a candle there, and I love sending their ecards, and reading about the gift people. Thanks for sharing.

Vespers is a lovely service. We have it each Saturday late afternoon at my parish. The light in the church when it gets darker earlier is incredible.

Tradd your Vespers sound like a beautiful spiritual experience with the church getting darker as the vespers move on...

I used to feel the beauty of the rhythm of the day and somehow I lost that I need to concentrate on the Vespers to get that back...
