Shoot! I could have used that example of John Seymour's "permaculture plan" for my own design presentation, which I'm doing today! Love this. Thanks!

Thank you so much for posting this link! I finally started looking at the photos yesterday and my dreams have been revived! I never thought much about A-frames, but I'm absolutely loving some of the ones here. And I've only made it through the first page!

Just noticed the yurt along the silk road in China on the first page has a satellite dish beside it. Ironic...

Woo-Hoo Cabin Porn (my kind of porn )

I'm going to be renting a place for the winter back up in my old 'hood in the SoCal mountains (Big Bear Lake - a mountain, lake and ski resort 100 miles - and 7,000 feet up - from LA. Probably can't find a cabin as cute as these (or as cute as the little chalet I use to own up there) but it'll be fun to look! Plus they all come fully furnished with everything you need. A minimalist dream! I don't need to own anything but get to enjoy all the good stuff. And then don't have to move anything iout (or in to a new place) once I'm ready to move.
