What a lady!
But I hated the term "she was worth 3 million $" . This lady (and any other good person) is worth much more than that.

Hers is an inspiring story. She must have been a good money manager as well as someone who took good care of her health. I am not counting on having such a large principal so I am making small donations each year.

There was another great story about a woman in Mississippi who managed to donate $150,000 to the state university from her savings as a cleaner (she either cleaned clothes or houses, I foget which). Anyway, she got her picture taken with Ted Turner and that was printed in the NEW YORK TIMES section called "Giving".

Reminds me of my favorite frugal billionaire Chuck Feeney who did similar things on a much grander scale. No house, no car, flies coach but instead of hoarding his billions, gives it away.
