I've just arrived

Just popping my head round the door to say hello! This forum was recommended to me by a good friend and I'm sure I will find plenty of interesting stuff here. I'm in the UK, live very simply but extremely happily. I like to create beautiful things. I haunt charity shops and carboot sales and like to recycle as much as I can. My major passion is my "allotment" (council owned land which can be rented for veg and fruit growing) and I take pride in feeding my small family with all manner of homegrown delights.
