Earthquakes happening and tsunami warning for Alaska

Just read on Facebook that Washinton state has had a 7.7 point earthquake, also one, not stated what degree it is rated in BC on the west coast. I hope Mr. M is alright.

I didn't feel a thing. 7.7 is a big deal, but it wasn't really close to anything, as far as I can tell.

Thanks, Tussie, All is well with us (and everyone), with only reports of minimal damage. I listened to a news special on the radio late into the morning (last night) re:, and all seems well in the Hawaiian Islands, too.

My parents are in Hawaii and they evacuated from their hotel to a high-ground community center in the middle of the night. But the anticipated waves never came, thank goodness.
