Sounds interesting. I'm reading a book now by a guy who lives off the grid with solar power and uses 5 kw of power a day for a family of 3. I was happy to get ours down to around 25 kw a day and it isn't even heating or cooling season here right now. It would be great to go solar eventually. For now we are just trying to the daily kw usage down.
