Life of Pi

We saw Life of Pi today. Ang Lee did a great job with it. I was so happy that it was well done because I tried to read that novel 2 or 3 times and just could not get into it, yet here was everyone around me raving about it.

The film was good, I recommend it.

I was one of the people who raved about it. It has been one of my favorite books of the past few years. Took my son to see it and wasn't sure if he would like it but he came out saying that it was one of his top all time movies and now he wants to read the book and use it for a project in his English class. Went to dinner afterwards and it provided hours of conversation. He picked up on more than I would have suspected since the movie could only show so much. I thought the visuals with 3D were very well done.

We didn't see the 3D version but the visuals held up very well to regular projection.
