This gift wrap art is done with fabric and is called
Furoshiki. Tried it a few years back when it was posted on the old boards.
It came out really nice. There are many more designs than what is posted on this site.

The instructions are art all on their own.

I've been contemplating (always the operative word) making rolled paper beads with gift wrap, inspired by a wonderful long necklace I bought this year at Value Village for $2.

Yeah, I remember this from the old boards, too....tried it with some overstock fabric (hoard) I had! LOL

LOL! I see a few that resemble the beginning steps of a few diaper folds I used with my kids! Love the idea!

I'm hesitant about beautifully done gift wrap because I think that the recipient assumes an even more fantastic gift inside - so then the pressure becomes about getting that extraordinary gift to match the gift wrap. probably over-thinking this ...
