This is cool. I have often thought to construct some sort of floating island to put in the fen for the ducks/geese to nest on as we have coyotes, and neighbor dogs who too often destroy the nests of the birds who pick the fen to make a home. I wonder how I could do such a thing on the (fairly) cheap?
