Anyone else have them?
I had bad migraines my whole life, but after menopause I still had auras, but just very mild headaches. Now I'm having what's called (self diagnosed) "ice pick" headaches. They are just sudden jabs in the head. They only last a second, but are really painful. Anyone else?

Oh, sounds like a trip to the doctor is in order. Do you have them frequently? Are they always in the same spot? Are they related to anything else? (eating, exercise, etc..?) I would make note of these things and talk to your health care provider.

I have something like that a few times a year or less, since I was a kid. It's on the back of my head, and its related to a sudden turning of my head to one side or the other. I've always thought of it as a muscle cramp like thing from the quick movement. I have idea what it really is.
