We don't watch all that much television in the summer but do in the cold, dark winter months. With 120 channels on satellite we find much of the time there is nothing worth our time so I started researching alternatives. I came upon the Canadian show 'Corner Gas', read good reviews and borrowed it from the library, season 1. So far my husband and I are enjoying the clean, dry humor.
I've followed the Downton Abbey thread and have gotten several ideas from that genre. I'm interested in knowing what others opinions are of 'Corner Gas' and suggestions for more of this type of viewing. Incidentally, 'The Red Green Show' is one of our favorites - I often quietly think to myself about my husband, 'he's a man, but he can change..........'.
