This is the first year that its been so bad. We built a really nice fence last year and rabbits can't get in now...........but mice still can. And I fear that the stray cats can't get in to take care of them. Don't you think a cat could figure out how to get in, if it wanted too?
I need to figure out (organically) how to deter them (no traps). I have alot of dog hair, would that work? I've heard that some people use moth balls hung on the tomatoes, but who in their right minds would hang such toxic stuff next to their tomatoes????
I've decided to pick them early........maybe when they're about a week from being ripe, and I'll ripen them inside. But even some of those have been eaten on. Little boogers. :devil:
