So what do you do with a bunch of leftover cooking oil? We made chicken and homemade onion rings in the oil (very tasty) and now I have no idea how to dispose of this much oil. Hmmm:help:

We put stuff like that out in a pan for the feral cats. Yes, I am the Neighborhood Cat Lady... <sigh>

You can strain it and store it for re-use in a tightly-covered container in the refrigerator.

I do as Jane does: strain it and store in the fridge. No way I'm gonna throw it out after only one use. But I have some directions on how to actually "clarify" used cooking oil for reuse, though I've yet to try it. I can post them if anyone's interested.

Ditto strain and refridgerate. I use felafel cooking oil just for cooking more felafel.

Thanks all, I had the strain idea and then had no idea what to do with it. I am glad I can re-use, it was expensive for one dinner.
