Yesterday we adoped two cats. One is a black, 4-month old that we named Rose; the other is a 6-month old, white with orange patches, an orange tail with the bluest eyes ever. We named him Teddy Bear. So now we have four cats and one dog. Too much? Probably, but the hole in my heart is still huge from losing my golden retriever and this helps. And, cats are a lot less work!

Its always a good feeling to take care of furry things. You give them love and they give it back. its a good thing!
Have fun!

Congratulations! And especially for adopting a black cat; they tend to languish at shelters.

We had to put our sweet black cat down a couple of months ago. We have 2 cats now and will most likely adopt another. I am looking forward to having a playful kitten again.

If someone would like to leave a black, cobby-bodied cat (British shorthair, exotic shorthair, Manx) on my doorstep, I would be inclined to take it in...

Glo, can understand how you are feeling since we just lost our dog and cannot wait until enough time passes to fill that empty hole in our lives.

Congratulation on the new members of your family! They sound adorable!
