Recently I've gotten into the Montreal-based group Constantinople, who play "itinerant music" drawing upon a wide range of world music traditions and instrumentation. Their Youtube channel is a treasure trove of live performances, here's one I've been digging a lot:

okay----yah, thanks for the suggestion. as i may have said before, the montreal music scene is a good resource for modern music, integrating traditional styles. because i rarely listen to air broadcast radio here that supplies us with either 60's-70's "classic" rock that I've become tired of, or else L.A.-style jammin' hip-hoppy stuff i really don't care for, interspersed among seemingly endless drive-time car dealer commercials. nope. AAlthough, over the last decade, I've heard some nice pop tunes i like. not many, tho. nope.

Okay---that song I mentioned has had a mashup with the Harry styles watermelon sugar song, by several mashup-ologists. But yeah, it is not brilliant, but the cool stuff from watermelon helps the rather brief seaside song. It's kind of like an old abbey road song by those beatpools or whatever. See?

okay----this is a new musician, playing music from way before her time. but yeah---a prodigy, now 19, who covers good stuff----even songs I did not like back then, and makes them awesome. she,s a guitarist, and awesome at that, as well. her stage name is Melle. but yeah----if she would appear at a small venue here, with a $15 cover, that'd be greaaaat. Yup.

okay----there's a big media push here in little ol' sfd, to promote a local kid who went ta hollyweird & evidently sings, tho i ain't never he o' her/it/him. but yeah--it's our hometown homo, and of course---all the fanaticratz here are behind her/it all the way, on account of her ideology/lifestyle. But yeah---basically, the anti-hillbilly. See? it calls itself chappel roan, though it has a real name that indicates her people are recent come-heres, prolly from San Loiusco. yup. She was born in Willard, MO. She changed her birth name (Kayleigh) at some point like many artists do. No indication that she, like any other human being, is an "it." I'm not surprised that I'm not into her music, being 72, but no reason other people might not like it.

okay-----i just read that last year, Mr John Hinkley jr was releasing an album of his songs, called: "Redemption". but yeah---i know you kids weren't even born when Mr Hinkley allegedly attempted to assassinate the President, but he was found innocent, owing to insanity. So, anyway----he's got a new career going as a singer-songwriter. Yup. maybe THAT will get Jody's attention.
