okay----there's a noo moooo-vveee being released called: "Ya'll Beez Ray-ciss" or something. It is supposed to be a satire something on the order of Portandia, that deals with the libland mentality. So anyway---they are selling tickkicks in advance, but as you kids kinow, i don't like being scammed that way, with fees & upcharges, etc. but yeah---if it appears anywhere, it will be here. hopefully, there will be protessors outside. yup. maybe i will see it, maybe not. I know summa you kids see EVERY moo-vee, since that is what you do. Yup.

"Civil War". The country is in chaos. A small band of photojournalists (lead by Kirstan Dunst) follow rebels to the White House to deal with a third term president who won't step down. Thin plot. I'd call it an action movie.

I am totally hooked on Ozark.. I've never seen it before, and I bing-watched for 5 hours yesterday. I'm missing a sunset now to watch it. Curious to know if iris lilies has seen it, given its location settings in MO.

I tried it and for some reason couldn’t get into it, but I haven’t entirely written it off. I know that it has good performances. Maybe it has a decent script. I might try it again later.

I came into it after the first couple of episodes. A couple of years ago, DH was hooked on it, but I was working and going to be earlie than he does so I never got into it either. But I think the character development and performaces are great, and I also fine the plot lines compelling. It gets a little bit much at times, but that's OK because 80% of it is awesome. It made me a huge fan of Julia Garner and it also increased my respect for Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.

I've been working the way through the "Dark Winds" series on Netflix. They are loosely after the Tony Hilleman mystery novels on the Navajo Nation with detective Leaphorn as the main character. Set in the 1970's. Usually there is a touch of Navajo superstition or folklore as an element of the stories. A bit too much Hollywood to be realistic, but decent stories. I was a fan of the novels at one time and it's probably one of those things where the books are better, but still pretty good.

Into The Fire: The Lost Daughter. On Netflix.

Documentary About an adopted girl who disappears. Excellent police work and work by internet sleuths and amazing coincidences solve the case.

For some unknown reason I’m watching the sad clown show Allen vs Farrow about woody Allen’s debauchery with.Mia Farrow’s children.

He is a creep, of course, and there’s no question he was oddly obsessed with Dylan, his very young adopted daughter, and he molested her at some point.

What I find confounding is all of the opportunities Mia Farrow had to recognize and act on his inappropriate weirdness and to exit the highway of depravity. She is on tape at the end as trying to reason with him after he molested Dylan, took extreme porn photos of her other daughter, and who knows what else.

She seems to be lacking in the Common Sense department.
