Things are moving so fast that it is hard to keep up. All of it is very concerning to me. I'm posting something I saw today:

I read about the payment thing in the NYT yesterday. Very concerning.
I am particularly pleased that important data I need to carry out my duties running my community's medical/rescue agency are no longer available. (Apparently if you don't track a disease, it doesn't exist...)
Good luck to you all.
This is a strong call to action, but I will reserve my reserve my concern for the things that really matter.
if it is true that Musk somehow controls treasury, that is a giant big deal.
It is critically important to focus on the things that really matter, as this author says.
That is not Elon’s accused Roman salute, the fact that the U.s.flag went up on Inauguration
day from half-mast for Jimmy Carter, Ivanka Trump deliberately channeling Handmaids’ Tale clothes, etc…. These things are not important.
Pleade do not fill the airwaves with perceived micro-aggressions. We all need to keep our eye on the ball. I find the hysteria of others to get in my way of figuring out what really is happening.
But of course that’s the real issue, identifying what really is happening.
Exactly, IL. I am focused on the unprecented power grab by an unelected billionaire. Also concerned about the efficacy of the FAA, as I will be flying to St. Louis in a few weeks. It's hard not to feel a little spooked by the plane crashes.
I find it baffling that there are not republican congressmen speaking up against what's wrong or false. Of course many of them are riding the coattails of being in control, but among them there only seems like a minor few willing to speak up. I would just guess that eventually some of the challenges will come to the Supreme Court and any more I'm not even sure they will defend the intentions of the constitution.
I can't walk out or boycott anything that would matter and I would have to consider the real value of any protests, although I've not heard of any. I do have a little extra income and have upped the anti to a couple of legal defense funds and public radio, which seems to be somewhat out of the reach of the media oligarchs so far.

I have just had two different lectures I was going to attend canceled due to the federal agency freeze. Both environmental groups. It was stated that they didn't know how to proceed with events until further notice.
Is this the grant funding freeze?
yesterday there was much groaning about St. Louis’s best festival, Festival of Nations, reporting they stopped taking vendor applications, I think because their funding is insecure. This festival relies on some government grant funding.
